Existing Building

Adaptive re-use of a 58,000 SF nineteenth/twentieth century manufacturing building to condominiums in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn. RHBPC completed an extensive survey of the property and multiphase building (heavy timber vs. concrete structures), a former factory in New York City.

Initial plans to convert the disused structure into luxury 30-40 condominiums required Due Diligence activity which included recommendations for adaptive re-use, solutions for upgrading building systems, and preservation considerations. The potential solutions to this problem were ultimately deemed too expensive to continue the project.
